A quiet sleep in today, after last night's ordeal getting home from Bolton.

We spent some time packing our bags and separating our luggage into what we needed for Paris vs what we didn't feel like carting all that way - and then caught a Taxi to Holburn with the excess, leaving it in the storage room at the Apartments where we will be staying next week, after our return from France.

After dropping off the gear, we ventured off in the early evening for a quick meal at Embankment before rushing to the tube to catch the "Jack the Ripper" walking tour, which was great, despite the rain :P.

The walk took us around the various places where victims of the murders were found, our guide was quite the expert on the subject. We even bought his book :)

Back home to the hotel again where we flaked out for the night - another early start tomorrow, we're going to Paris!
